BMW To Unveil Top-Of-The-Line Z4 Roadster at NAIAS 2010.

BMW is set to pull the tarps off of a new, more sporty version of their Z4 roadster.  With 335hp, 369 lb-ft of torque, and an estimated 0-60 time below 5 seconds, this is sure to squirt along down the boulevard.  We think the Z4 looked great, and now has the performance to back it up.  But is this the top Z4 we'll get to see?  Maybe, but this one carries the name of Z4 sDrive35is.  There seems to be an M missing from the name...

Cadillac To Showcase STS/DTS Replacement And CTS-V Coupe

Cadillac will premiere a new concept car at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 12, the latest in its series of dynamic designs. This latest concept advances the brand’s Art & Science philosophy that has included a series of acclaimed concept cars in recent years, such as the Cadillac Sixteen, CTS Coupe Concept and Converj.  The 2011 CTS-V Coupe will make its world premiere in Detroit as well, and will enter into production in the summer of 2010.  As long as no one is looking, we'll see about taking the CTS-V Coupe out for an impromptu test drive.  What are they odds they leave the keys in it?  It would surely make for a more entertaining mode of transportation than Jalopnik's GEM from last year.

Press Preview Cut From Three Days To Two

Much to no one' s surprise, the NAIAS has cut the press days from three down to two.  Also, the exotic cars will be held under lock and key over at the MGM Grand, available only to those granted worthy enough to gain access.  As it turns out, having an AMEX Centurion cards is as good as a key to get in.  Anyone happen to have one we can borrow?  We promise to keep the beer tab to a minimum.
